Rental Agreement

1. Reservation & Deposit

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the order and constitutes agreement to the Rental Agreement, unless otherwise stated in writing by DAISY Events + Rentals.

2. Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to or at the time of customer pick-up or delivery. Items will not be released without full payment.

3. Pick-Up, Delivery & Returns
The renter agrees to pick up and return all rental items on the date and by the time specified on the invoice. The renter is responsible for loading and unloading items into their personal vehicle(s).
For deliveries, the renter must be present to receive the items and ensure they are ready for pick-up at the coordinated date and time.
Late returns may result in additional daily rental fees.
4. Loss, Damage & Responsibility
The renter assumes full responsibility for all rented items while in their possession and agrees to pay the full cost of repair or replacement for any lost, stolen, or damaged items, excluding normal wear and tear.

5. Condition of Rental Items
All items are rented as-is and may show signs of normal use. DAISY Events + Rentals does not guarantee that items are free from minor defects or cosmetic imperfections.

6. Set-Up & Use
The renter is solely responsible for the proper set-up, use, and operation of all rented items unless professional set-up services are provided by DAISY Events + Rentals in writing.

7. Liability & Assumption of Risk
DAISY Events + Rentals shall not be held liable for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from the use, misuse, or improper setup of rental items. The renter assumes all risk of personal injury or property damage while the rental items are in their possession and agrees to notify DAISY Events + Rentals immediately if any accident or incident occurs involving the rental items.

8. Marquee Letters & Numbers
Marquee letters and numbers must remain in the installation area and may not be placed near water, pools, streams, or in unsheltered outdoor areas where weather may cause damage.
If marquee inventory is moved from the original installation area, the renter assumes full responsibility for any resulting damage, including misplaced or damaged electrical components.
DAISY Events + Rentals is not responsible for personal injury resulting from the relocation or misuse of marquee items.
Replacement bulbs are available and must be returned if unused. Unreturned replacement bulbs will be charged a $10 replacement fee.

9. Cleaning Fees
A cleaning fee may apply and vary according to the items rented and quantities, and their condition upon return. Food service items are subject to cleaning fees based on quantity and condition. Cleaning fees may be refunded if items are returned in the same condition as provided.
10. Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit may be required and will vary based on the items rented. Linens may be returned unwashed but must be dry and free of stains, burns, tears, or other damage. All items must be returned in a condition suitable for future rental. Deposits will be refunded after inspection of returned items.

11. Identification Requirement
Valid photo identification is required at the time of rental. Any physical or digital copy of identification will be returned, shredded, or deleted upon rental return.

12. Payment Methods & Transaction Fees
A transaction fee applies to payments made via credit card, debit card, and/or PayPal. This fee may be waived if payment is made by cash, check, or Zelle.
